open Works database file without Works?

I have a Works database file full of address I need, but I don't have Works
on my machine. So far, I've been unable to open it with any Office product,
and I even tried using FileMaker Pro on my Mac at work. Anybody know how I
can extract the data without Works?

Also, if I find somebody with Works, can I have them simply export that file
to another format? If so, what format should I have them select?
