Opening 2003 files in Office 2007 Beta 2 TC

K

klkan

Hello

I just upgraded from 2007 Office Beta 2 to 2007 Office Beta 2 TC.

I now cannot open existing 2003 Office files. I did not have this problem
in 2007 Office Beta 2 (pre TC)

Is there something that I need to do now to open my existing files?

Thank you for your help

Kind regards
Kevin

Thank you Patrick!

I have turned off the Norton AntiVirus but still have the problem. Is there
a specific option for the Office Integration?

Is this a known problem? Will this be fixed for the production version of
Office 2007?

Thanks again
Kevin

Please turn your anti-virus back on again immediately. Turning off AV
completely is not what I meant and makes your system vulnerable.
There is a specific option within Norton AntiVirus that allows you turn
off the Office integration. Take a look through the options dialog.

The option Patrick is referring to can be found in Norton Options in
the Miscellaneous Section, and is called "Enable Office-Plug-in".
