opening 2007 word document in 2003 word

I am trying to open a document from Microsoft Word 2007 in Microsoft Word
2003 but it will not allow me. How do I do this?

Word 2003 needs a converter to read this later file format.

You should install the updates for your version of Word (or Office) from
Microsoft's site to get the latest patches and fixes.
