Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) I'm trying to open a 2008 MAC Powerpoint presentation (with video .avi) and graphics on a PC with 2007 Powerpoint. My graphics are appearing very compromised; the transparent photos are not working and the fonts are skewed and the video does not work. How do I do this without losing my beautiful presentation?

Use Keynote.
Microsoft Office for the Mac is half assed. Its singular purpose is to
make the Mac experience miserable for everyone and convert them back to
Windows.

Probably the most important thing is to make sure that your copy of
PowerPoint on the Mac is fully up to date (Help > Check for Updates),
your operating system is up to date (Apple menu > Software Update) and
that the PC Office is up to date (Start > Windows Update - make sure
Office is included in updates).

Next, when you design your presentation stick with fonts that are listed
on the font menu as Windows compatible. If you use a font that's not on
the PC, the PC will substitute it with something else, which throws the
spacing off and changes the look of your presentation.

PowerPoint 2007 should be supporting transparecy unless you saved it
back to 97 through 2004 .ppt format instead of the default .pptx format.
