Opening a PPS file

You're probably spending more time on this than it's worth. <VBG> It makes me
real nervous when people say they "deleted an application", e.g. Acrobat Reader.
I hope you meant that you "uninstalled" it.

Runtime errors? When? In what application? What do they say? It sounds like
you've got other "bad stuff" going on.

Try disabling virus checking just before you try to open the email attachment.
Does that make a difference?

Hi Sonia,

yes, I know... but I do not give up easily!

And don't get nervous.... LOL
Since yes, I meant Uninstall.. sorry for my word choice!

I got Runtime Errors on pages I opened with/via Internet Explorer, which
seem to be resolved by now.

I wonder if my problem has to do with memory ... since after reboots it
most of the times it works fine... I am just guessing.
Or maybe in combination with an other program running...

Anyway, right now it seems to work again.

Best regards,
Ellen

Runtime errors in IE are probably the fault of the webmaster and can be
suppressed by disabling script debugging in IE's Internet Options > Advanced.
You don't want to debug someone else's HTML. You can even test that by visiting
my website because I have an error somewhere in my web template. It's making me
crazy. Free chocolate to anyone who can spot it for me. <G>
