Opening a .pub file without Publisher software?

I received a .pub file but don't have Publisher software? Can I open with any
other program?

No.

If you would like, you can send the file to me and I can convert it to a
..pdf file. That would allow you to view the file but not edit it.

If you want to accept my offer, send the file to jl dot paules at gmail dot
