Opening a text file in a frame

I need to be able to open a text file in the main page of
a frame. Does anyone have a idea how to do this. Everytime
I've tried, the text file opens notepad. As the text file
will eventualy contain a serial number for a hybrid CD I
can't use notepad when it gets opened on the Mac.


Help!!
