Opening a word document

Hi, I have been having a problem in opening a word 2003
document by doubling clciking. When word is not open, the
file opens but I get the following error: message
displayed
Word cannot find the "file - Correct location is given".
Make sure you typed it correctly and try again etc.

I have looked at the file types dialog and all seems to
be OK.

If word is open then the file loads OK.

Possibly because the document you're trying to open contains a link to
another document.
