I have someone where anytime he opens an access database he gets a popup of
Installing : Microsoft Access Feature. I've seen this before in other office
products and usually reregistering the product (start, run, winword.exe /r)
fixes the problem. Is there a way to do this for Access? I've found
information on reregistering .dlls but not the program itself.
He is also having the following problem:
When he tries to run link to table manager he gets Access has encounterd a
problem and needs to close.
He just received a new IBM T42 laptop. We've tried detect and repair but it
didn't do anything. Our workstations are setup using a ghost image for the
base load. Then applications like access are installed from the admin point.
This is the same for anyone who gets access. Any ideas on why this isn't
working for him?
