Opening Any Documents

Hi,
When i try to open any documents with Word 2002, it says
the file is not available. (ie. "The file Key Points is
not available")
It is not the document's error as i tried and suceeded in
opening the document with another application.

Also, when i try to close the application, a balloon pops
up saying "The file Normal already exists. Do you want to
replace the existing file?" and/or "Chages have been made
that affect the global template, Normal. Do you wnat to
save those changes?"
This pops up every time i try to close it without making
any changes to the template.

I have tried reinstalling and "Detect and Repair"

Thanks, it worked!
I've recently uninstalled Norton but the internet
security one left some files left in the program files
directory.
It seems Norton creates a lot of problems

Hi Paul,

Glad to hear you have the problem resolved. :)

The Office Plug-in option causes many problems. But using Norton
without the plug-in isn't an issue.
