I apologize for starting a new thread but this info may be of some assistance
to those having the same issue I was having. After the last MS updates on
3/12/08 I was unable to open any attachments. I did a repair with the
Outlook 2007 CD and this fixed it but only temporarily. I then read in this
forum that the culprit may be Google Desktop which I did not have. However,
I did have Google Updater. So I set a restore point and uninstalled Google
Updater, restarted, and now all is well.
