Opening Database Error

When I attempt to open a database, I get the error:

"The Microsoft Jet Database Engine stopped the process
because you and another user are attempting to change the
same data at the same time."

Trouble is I am just opening the database, not changing
any data. No one can get in.

Anyone have any ideas?

i have an idea eric,
is anyone in the same database at the time you are in the
database?
if anything, make sure all tables, forms, queires, etc.
are closed and saved before opening whatever it is you
want to open. your probably opening it in design view,
but i dunno. maybe that wil help.

Thanks for responding Alex,

I believe multiple people were in it at one point, but not
now. I think it got corrupted. I am attempting to have
admin restore from yesterday. Luckily in this case, it is
no big loss.
