Opening database

Hi

I've just had to upgrade 2 computers to windows xp and office xp from 2000,
but I have a database which is located on a mapped drive with shortcuts to it
on both desktops.

I cannot get the database to open. It tells me to open it I have to copy it
to the local drive.

Please Help.

Try holding down the Shift key while you open it. Then go to Tools ...
Database Utilities ... Linked Table Manager and relink the tables to the new
drive mappings where the data is located.

Thanks for that, but it didn't work. It's telling me that the file is
outside the intranet or on an untrusted domain......

It's located on our server and I've already checked the permissions on the
folder. All other files located in there can be opened etc without any
problem, so I really haven't a clue.
