Opening databases

We have a database that will not open with a dialog box
stating "The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the
process because you and another user are attempting to
change the same data at the same time." The odd part
about this is that this database has a single user. No
one else was in the database. We have made sure that no
one would happen to have it open, and have tried to open
it numerous times, and we keep getting the same message.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in
advance.

Yes we have compacted and repaired....what do we do from

Corruption.
