Opening files in slightly different versions

I use files on a 98SE computer using Access 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3) but these
will not open on a XP professional computer using Access 2000 (9.0.2720).

Can anyone help.

I think it might be a permissions thing but do not know where to start.

Well, first off, you REALLY should apply SP-1, 2 and 3 to the XP computer
version: it's going to be incompatible in some ways, and you'll need some of
the bug fixes in these three releases.

What error message do you get when you attempt to open the database? Do you
see any difference if you hold down the Shift key to bypass startup code?
