opening folder list for other web

Hi All,

I have 2 webs on puter. I open both but in folder list, only pages for the
old/main ones will show. Help/

We'll have to decipher here.
Exactly what are you doing?
Exactly how are you doing it?
Are you selecting the right web?
Each web will open in a separate instance of FP that you will have to
select.

I'm sorry, I tried to keep it short.
I have always had my own web on puter. I recently downloaded a friends web
to make some changes for him. When I open fp, and I open his web, his folder
list does not show, the one from my site always comes up. I am wanting to
work on his site, delete pages etc but cannot get his folder list.

Thanks Gentlemen,

I downloaded it with wsftp pro as he gave me the username etc. I just
brought it into a folder. I do notice that it doesn't have a web type icon
against it like my site does. I built that from scratch on this puter of
course. I don't understand 'publish it' or Publish it back down.

Unless the remote site has the FP extensions, your only option is to use FTP to download the content
to a folder. Just open the folder via FP File Menu | Open Web / Site and allow FP to make the folder
a web.

You are indeed a legend. Thanks heaps. I went open/web/site and a box came up
saying that front page needed to ad some info to the site. It did and 'you
beauty'
