Opening FP 2003 Clears Clipboard

When I copy some text from another document and I launch Front Page 2003, my
clipboard is cleared and I cannot paste the text to the Front Page document.
I have to re-copy the text in order to paste it to Front Page document. Is
there a switch setting or is this an annoying issue with front page ?

Did you try havings both programs open at the same time
in Windows? You could then copy the stuff you want and
then switch to (not open) Front Page and paste it.

I could do that, but I rather not having to do that. I usually use
primalscript to do my coding and use Front Page for layouts and quick table
creation instead of typing the codes. I just was wondering if there was a
setting in the FP options or registry to preventing clearing of clipboard
when opening FP.

I tried to duplicate your problem using several programs. FP2003 did not
loose any clipboard info.
Try a detect and repair, might help.

Did you copy/cut from the application before launching Front Page 2003 ? I
can cut/copy/paste no problem if Front Page 2003 is already open. However,
the clipboard info is lost if I launch Front page 2003 after I do a cut/copy.

Yes. Tried it every which way. Could not duplicate the problem from Word,
Excel,
Outlook. What application are you using?
Did you try detect and repair?

I tried Detect and repair and it did not resolve it. When I tried from
Notepad or Internet Explorer it does not do this. I even tried it with
Office Documents and still was not able to paste. I have the same
application on my computer at my house as well and it doesn't allow me to
paste after I copy the items BEFORE opening Front Page 2003 - the clipboard
is flushed for some reason.
