Opening Mbox files

Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I'm using Entourage 2008 and have been archiving msg by drag and dropping the file or folder to my desktop (where it saves it as an "mbox" file). I tried to open an mbox file (17MB) to look at some of the old msg by pressing command+O after i clicked on the file icon. Entourage was open and running and I think the archive was opened in entourage but I cannot find it anywhere in my email account. It seems to be there somewhere as the overall size of my mail box has shot up. Also my "drafts" folder is empty but it says its size is 140000K. So maybe it's in there?
Any advice?

It should show up under folders "On My Computer" like this name of
file.mbox. See this movie:
