Opening ms word error

Hi

I am trying to open MS Word, but everytime I try and open it, I get an error -

'The file or folder 'closed electric dbase.mdb' that is short cut refers to cannot be found'

For some reason it is looking for a database which i do not have. Is there away to stop MS Word to stop searching for this database.
I have tried a reinstall, but that hasn't worked
