Opening MSProject in "Explorer"

Hi all,

I've got a puzzling problem that I'd be grateful if anyone could help me
with. At work, I have an application that launches Microsoft Project in an
Explorer window. The problem is, that if there are any "add-ins" added to
Microsoft Project, then it doesn't launch, or takes very long to launch - it
is fine with no add-ins. Anybody have any ideas?

Any help greatly appreciated.
