Opening ODF files with Word 2008 for mac

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

Is there anyway to open OpenDocument files with Word 2008 on the mac?

Not yet, no.

There's an Open Source project running here:
http://odf-converter.sourceforge.net/index.html

They have released version 1.1 for Office 2007.

However, it relies on .Net, which is not yet available on the Mac.

Please use Send Feedback from the Word Help menu to let Microsoft know that
you want it.
