Opening Office 2007 on a Vista machine over a network

I have recently put office 2007 on Vista Business machines and joined a
domain. However when we open Word, or Publisher the files take a long time to
open or the machines hang. We are using server 2003. Anybody else got this
problem or even better have a solution.

May be one of the same problems that occurred with Office 2003. Worth a
check. Make sure that there are no "dead" network drive maps (in other
words, all network maps actually have a computer resource active.)

No maps are not an issue all new pcs and new server. Publisher is very slow??

Publisher is a huge issue I think we are onthe right track. What sjould we
do with publisher. Forgive the typing broken hand. tHANKS
