Opening Older Files

I have a project file (.MPP) that was supposedly reated in
MS Project 8.0. That is what the properties is saying.
However, if I try to open it in 2002, I get a message
saying that I can not open files older than 98. If I try
it with 98 I get a message saying that I can not open 4.0
and below.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this opened?

Dig out your old copy of Project 8.0.

I have a copy of Project 4.x. If you don't mind sending the file over
the internet, zip it and send it to me directly (not through the
newsgroup) and I'll see if I can open it for you. If it opens, I should
be able to return a Project 2000 version (I don't have Project 2002). At
least we can give it a shot.
