opening older publisher files

Hi, probably a FAQ, but anyway.
How does one open a older version of a publisher file.
A friend has sent me a publisher file and I try to open it
publisher says "pulisher can't open older versions of
files".

Anyway to convert the file? Perhaps import it into word?

You will need to find out which version they are using and tell us which
version you are using. Here is a link that shows which version are
