Until yesterday I was using Office 2003 ... Just upgraded to 2007 (Enterprise):
I have hyperlinks in a Word document like C:\show.ppt#120, which used to
open the show.ppt in presentation mode at slide 120. But it no longer does
this. It just opens the ppt file in edit mode at slide 1. Looking around on
the web and here suggests that #slide should still work, but it certainly
doesn't for me ... Only way I found was to save the PPT as a PPSX, and then
it seems to work as before. It also didn't work ith the PPTX file.
Is there any other approach that might work with PPT files, as changing to
PPSX's would leave me with a lot of links to fix up to now point to the PPSX
files!
Thanks,
