Opening ppt file

Is there a way to open and/or print a PowerPoint document from Access? I
actually don't need to open it, just print it. Also, where can I find
information on how to interact with a Powerpoint document? Thanks.

On my website (www.rogersaccesslibrary.com), is a small Access database
sample called "AutomatingPowerpoint.mdb" which creates a powerpoint
presentation from Access. It's doesn't print the presentation, but it might
get you started.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Do you know if an existing Powerpoint file (ppt)
can have placeholders (like Work bookmarks) that you can find and update?

You can create object on your presentation template (Base.ppt in my sample)
and then reference them programmatically, which is what I do to place the
jpeg and text on the slides.
