have you tried to set up a SQL ODBC connection (Control Panel, Admin Tools,
ODBC Data Sources in W2K)? We discovered that other software is defaulting
SQL network transports to "Named Pipes" and if the SQL server is on another
VLAN or Subnet, you have to use the TCP/IP or Multiprotocol transport. If
you set up an ODBC connection to the project server, it may clear up your
issue.
