We are getting Word files from a consulting group and when any of our users
running Office 2000 opens the file they get a BSOD. The screen flashes by
so quickly I cannot see what module is faulted.
I am running Office 2003 and do not have any difficulty opening the file.
The source file claims it was created with Microsoft Word 9.0, which I
believe is from the Office 2000 suite so I don't not believe this is a
version issue (even if it was, why a BSOD?).
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be happening? The only odd
thing I can find about the file itself is that it contains an embedded
read-only font.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jason
