Opening WordPerfect format

I'm trying to open a WordPerfect (.wpd) file. Is there a patch or tool?

Not within Word.

If it's a file that someone sent you they should be able to Save it As
rtf and resend.

Otherwise a program called MacLinkPlus can convert it.

In addition to MC's comments: if you have access to a Windows PC, Microsoft
Word for Windows might be able to open the file, depending on the converters
that have been installed. There is also an open source application called
AbiWord that can open WordPerfect files.
