Your subject line says "works text document" while your message says "word
text document." Assuming you mean Works, you'd need to make sure that the
appropriate text converter/filter is installed. For Office XP... in the
Control Panel, open Add or Remove Programs, Microsoft Office, Change, Add or
Remove Features - Next. Expand Office Shared Features, Converters and
Filters, Text Converters, and make sure that the appropriate Works filters
are set to "Run from my computer." Complete the action by choosing Update.
