opening xp file in powerpoint in 2003

when I open a file create in xp powerpoint on 2003 powerpoint the graphics
gets resize. do you know what causing it.

Are they getting bigger or smaller?

Does it happen to every graphic, or just some?

Does it happen on all presentations, or just some?
