Operation Failed or Operation aborted error messages when trying to add business note

Or other history items to Business contacts manager. Additionally
after I recieve this error message, I find that my ability to start
new email message, or create new calendar items etc is all greyed out.

I am using BCM v2 with the Service pack 1 update and Outlook 2003 SP1.

Any one know how to resolve this problem

My guess is that there's some error inserting new items into the
activities table in the bcm database.

Can you add Opportunities to history? They don't get stored in a
different table.

Also, are you trying to add history items in the history folder, or in
Contact or Account form's history grid?

When I try to add an opportunity from outside of the business contact o
account interface I am able to pull up the opportunity grid, but am no
permitted to save.

It seems to me that every time I open up the business contact detail
or account details I trigger this error and I am prevented from addin
new history items, or operate outlook effectively. I have tried a ful
re-install of both Outlook, and updated to SP2 as well as BCM, update
to SP1 and still experience the same issue

Are those the exact error messages?
Did BCM ever work?
Also, is the Business Tools Menu Present?
