Optimize script performance

Mike Klick

Apparently I've put too many scripts in my web site. One that generates a
RSS fee squishes all the headings (except the last one) so it can't be read.
I have to reload it for it to clear up.

Beside the obvious resolution of removing some of the scripts, is there a
way to optimize how scripts run to help reduce this problem?

Not w/o seeing it
- it's probably not too many scripts, but bad absolute positioning

Post a URL in the newsgroup

| Ok. Should I post my web site on the newsgroup or off?

It is not the feed that is corrupt
- try it in a blank page
Only thing I see wrong is an extra </center> tag in
<p align="center">&nbsp;<center>
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src=http://www.webpasties.com/pastie.php?mode=scroll&sid=619&mid=342></script>
</center>
</center></p>

PS
remove all spaces from file names

| http://www.hlit.net/News.htm Most of the time the heading on the new items
| are squished. If I reload the page it is ok.
|
| Thanks,
|
