Options menu defective

Can anyone help me with an issue with the Outlook Options
menu?

When I pull it up the fonts and menu are off the page of
the window size and much of it is not available. For
example the preferences\e-mail only shows a little more
than half the description message and the button is barely
visible to the far right. If I click on a partial button
the sub-window comes up with the large font but the window
does resize properly.

The rest of the office package seems to be ok.

Is the window oversized or are the buttons not alligned to the left? What
version of Outlook are you using?

Hi:

Thanks for responding
the version is Outlook 2002 part of Office XP

the window is 'under-sized' and the font is about 14pt
Bold versus the normal 8-10 point that it was when I
installed it

thanks again

Do I understand correctly that your Options window from Outlook is bigger
than your whole screen? It sounds a bit odd. Can you post a screenshot of it
or describe your problem once again? Also what is the resolution you are
using for your screen at the moment (check this in Control Panel-> Display
Properties-> tab Settings).

Please post back with some more info.

Hi:

Sorry you're not on the same line of thought yet.

The pop-out screen sizes are normal. The FONT is too big
and runs off the right side of the pop-up window,
invisibly and there is no way to get to the options
buttons. There are no scroll bars and the options are not
accessible.

I tried to paste in a screen shot but the copy/paste did
not work. Is ther another method?

I appreciate your help, however it is taking hours to get
a message to/from you. I'm planning to reformat everything
to get this working.

Thanks, don

Yep, it's a forum not a chatbox :)

Quite strange that it is only yhis windows that has a font that is of the
scale. Are all other fonts in the windows correctly sized? I was thing about
custom font dpi settings in your Display Properties but this has an effect
on all the fonts.

Well, good luck with the format!
