Oracle 9.2.0.2.0 ODBC link

I have an Access database that is the front end to Oracle
data. The database was version 8.1.6 and was upgraded to
9.2.0.2.0.

I have two clients, one is 8.1.6, one is 9.2.0.2.0.
Everything links and works fine on 8.1.6 client. When
trying to run on 9.2.0.2.0 client (has the new driver), I
get errors programmatically linking the tables. (The
Microsoft Jet Database engine could not find the
object 'myviews.view_name'. Make sure the object exists
and that you spell its name and the path name correctly.)

I can link successfully through Linked Table Manager.

Has anyone seen this?

What version of Jet (including service packs) are you using? FYI...there
has been some discussion of an issue/bug with linked tables using ODBC
drivers that fail with Jet 4.0 SP7. Find subject "Jet 4.0 Service Pack 7
does not work with my ODBC driver" in microsoft.public.access

Paul,

Thanks for the reply. We have Jet 4.0, no service packs,
as far as I see in the System Information. I was not
aware of that known bug.
