Oracle tables in Access 2002 - Decimal datatype?

Hi there. I have a Access 2002 with a dozen linked Oracle table. The Oracle
ODBC client is 9i.
When I open a table in datasheet form or in a query, some record can not be
shown, writing '#Error' in all columns. Entering the record, a msg pop up:
"The value in field is too long for decimal datatype." All numeric fields
are translated as decimal datatype, with various values for Precision and
Scale properties.
The same tables, with the same ODBC driver, in the same machine, open
normally with MS Access 97. All numeric fields are translated as Integer or
Double and work fine.
How can I correct this problem in MS Acces 2002?
