Order--front to back

Word 97
I'm trying to insert a WordArt object behind the text in
my letter. Neither the "order/send to back" or
the "order/send behind text works". Any ideas??

Try this:

Right click on the Word Art object... and select FORMAT OBJECT (in Word
2000 -- so yours might be a little different) go to the Layout Tab -- and
select BEHIND TEXT.

But try to do it from the FORMAT OBJECT dialog box - -instead of the DRAW
MENU.
