Org Charts dissappear in word document

Jon

Ive added a number of organizational charts to my word document. I have
selected the outline view and selected the charts to be body text, so that
the TOC isnt updated with the charts. However now my charts just appear as a
blank area in normal view and also when i print them! When i go to Web view i
can see the charts but not normal! Does anyone know whats going wrong?

Thanks in Advance!

Hi Jon -

Org charts (assuming Insert>Diagram was used) are embedded objects which
*never* display in Normal View. Use Print Layout View or Print Preview to
see/edit them. Make sure Tools>Options>View has the box checked for Drawings.

They are most likely not printing because the Tools>Options>Print doesn't
have a check in the box for Drawing Objects.

Also, the org charts are *not* text, so the attempt to apply Body Text (or
any other character or paragraph Style) is not only ineffective, but totally
unnecesary.
