Organisation Charts

I'm having a huge problem doing an org chart in Word 2002.
My chart is quite complex. Now when I move a certain line, several others
jump out of their orignal position so I have to move them all back into
place. It's killing me!!!

Word is definitely not the best application to be using for this. It is
probably easier to do it in Excel.

I find PowerPoint more practical with images/org charts than both Excel or
Word.
I have created some very complex Org Charts in PPT without 'too' much
trouble and then inserted a picture version of it in the Word document.

Assuming you're using the Insert | Diagram | Organization Chart
function in Word 2002 to insert the chart, try turning off
AutoLayout on the Organization Chart toolbar.
