I'd probably just go for the drawing tools.
You can't add custom prompt text to the org chart in Office 2003.
You can add your own prompt text to placeholders in PPT 2007, but I don't
see a way to do this with the new SmartArt diagrams. ( I believe there's a
way to hack into the XML and do this with 2007 SmartArt, but I haven't
gotten quite that far yet. )

Hi,
Funny you should bring that up, I was just working on block charts using
Office Visio 2007, and in Visio, there's a whole section on organizational
charts.
Don't know if it'll help ya,but if you have access to Visio, check it out.
