Organization Chart: Change Position Type action has empty/blank di

Running Windows XP, IE7, Office 2003.

Under Visio Pro 2003, all my installs no longer allow you to change the
position type of an orgchart shape. The Change Position Type dialog box
listing is empty (does act if there entries as it has a scrollbar). Nothing
new has been installed on these systems, except for normal patching. Not
sure when it started, likely last month or two.

I have SA licenses and upgraded a couple systems to Visio Pro 2007, it did
not fix the issue. I have a clean install under Vista (x64) that has the
same issue.

With Visio 2003 we are running SP3. With Visio 2007 we are running SP1.

Thanks, Joe

Have you created a new Organization Chart diagram to test with yet? If
not, try starting a new diagram as a test, and see if the Change Position
Type feature works as you would expect. If it does, there may have been
some corruption effect on the existing drawings.

I tried to deliberately 'corrupt' my own sample org chart drawings, and
couldn't see an easy way to get to the issue you are seeing. The one thing
that might be a factor is whether the drawing(s) have ever been saved down
to Visio 2002/2000 version and edited there. The Org chart solution was
completely rewritten in 2003, so there are possible issues with round
tripping through the older file format.
