Organization Chart Converter Message When Opening a Visio Document

Hello All ~
Apparently the visio was updated and the version is standard 2003. After
this upgrade, the user now gets a message everytime a visio doc is open, "The
organization chart shapes in this drawing must be converted to work properly
in the current version of Microsoft Visio. Click Yes to convert the shapes
now. If you click No, the shapes in your drawing will not function correctly."
Clicking Yes opens the original document plus an extra one typically named
Drawing2 and it seems to show the former doc with changes or modifications
but symbols rather displaced and not connected. In the options, the warnings
was disabled but this didn't help. What gives???
I'd like only the original document to open and not suggest anything changes
or prompts for a mesage and to continue working as before. Will certainly
appreciate any information on this issue.
Thanks in advance.

The file was probably 2000 or ealier, I'm not sure where the symbols are
coming from. There's not a way I'm aware of to disable the prompts when you
open the drawing. If you don't convert the drawing you won't be able to use
the automation of the Org Chart Wizard. The reason it creates the other
file is in case you want to open the drawing in an older version. One copy
for 2003, and one for older versions.

I've seen conversion issues with org charts and sometimes it's just easier
to create the org chart from scratch in a new 2003 drawing. But you don't
need to manually recreate everything. You can export the org chart to Excel
and re-import that into a new org chart drawing in 2003.
