Organizational Chart

I upgraded a user from WinNT4.0+Office97 to Win2000+Office2000, and now when
he tries to open and OrgChart, he gets the message:
"Unable to load MS Organizational Chart. Press F1 for Help.".

In searching through the KB, this seems to be a known problem. Is there a
patch or workaround so he can run the OrgChart program?
Thanks

I have a different problem.... the user has an old Org chart with the
extension of
'.doc', and can't open it. MS OrgChart tries to open, but generates the
error message then closes. So I can't use the workaround in the article - it
assumes I can
open OrgChart.

Thanks,
Allen

Hi Allen,

If it's a .doc file then it would be seen by Word
as a Word document. MS Orgchart v2 used .OPX files
as mentioned in the article.

It's possible that the .DOC file could have a link to
an OPX file that contained the original chart.
