ost file is not valid

I have a user who is part of a domain and has a roaming profile. He uses a
laptop. He can access his outlook on his laptop fine when he is connected to
the network. However sometimes he needs to use another machine and when he
logs in and opens outlook he gets this message.

The path specified for the file "c:\documents and
settings\staylor.ARC\localsettings\Application data\outlook\outlook.ost is
not valid

How do I sort this out? Do i have to change something on his laptop or on
the other computer? Many thanks

Version of Outlook? The ost-file should be automatically created on the
other computer as well. Are the profile paths on both computers exactly the
same. I.e. "staylor.ARC" and not "staylor"
