Announcing the availability of the Microsoft
Digital Image Starter Edition 2006. This is
a fully functional, downloadable trial version
with all the bells and whistles of MS Digital
Image Suite 2006. The program will revert
to very limited functionality after the 60 day
trial period.

Be aware that it's a 109 MB download....

BTW, this program includes Photo Story
3.1 and it has the capability to create VCDs.

Yep...it would take a while. But hey...
it's an opportunity to download a fully
functional program.

I have DIP9 so I'm a bit familiar with the product.

For those of you with broadband - check it out!

Starter Edition does not contain *all* of the
features of DIS2006. It contains most of them.

It does not have RAW support and it does not
have any burning functionality. Thus, it includes
Photo Story 3.0, which does not have VCD
burning. The reason these limitations exist is
due to licensing issues.

Sorry for the error.

100+ meg...sheesh.

Bingo!
====================================
That was insensitive wasn't it? Sorry for the outburst.

Anyway, DIS2006 includes Photo Story which
will create animated slide shows with transitions
and music. And...the retail version has an option
to create VCDs with your Photo Stories.

The last Picture It! / Digital Image program with
web capabilities was 2002.

That's ok..I'm a big boy...I can take it.
I'm waiting to see what Expression will bring to the web table.

Acrylic, PVC, Bondo...whatever.

Looked like they were gonna call it Expression Web Designer.
Who names this stuff anyways?

| Acrylic, not Expression.
