Oulook 2002 and can't find POP3 servers

I cannot get the e-mail program to work with POP3. I am
running Outlook 2002 on Windows 2000 and I configure the
e-mail and it fails sending test message and finding both
POP3 servers. The network uses Proxy Server and MS
Exchange. I have reinstalled Outlook, redid the client,
updated to all MS patches and still it doesn't work. Any
help is greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to connect to a POP3 server outside your organisation? Make
sure port 25 (SMTP) and port 110 (POP3) aren't blocked by your
administrator. If these aren't blocked you might need to install proxy
client on your client from the proxy server. Also note that not all ISP's
will allow you to connect to their mailserver from outside their network.
You'll need to use their webbased mailclient instead.

Hope this helps!
