'Out of memory' messages in OL2003

One one of my OL2003 clients I get the message:
'Can't open this item. Out of memory or system resources.
Close some windows or programs and try again'
...whenever I try to open any object - mail, calendar,
contact etc. It will also not display mail messages in
the reading pane.
I went through the complete Office 2003 remove/install
process, but the problem still persists on this one
machine. Others machines also running OL2003 correctly
display objects when accessing the same Exchange 2003
mailbox. The disk has plenty of space and OL2003 is the
only program/window open.

Can anyone suggest a solution, please?
