Out-of-Office Alert should not respond to alias emails

In addition to my personal email address, I also receive emails to
"webmaster@...", "sales@...", "info@...", and "adminstrator@...". As
spammers often send emails to those generic addresses, I get that spam.
Unfortunately, the Out-Of-Office Alert is sent to emails arriving from those
generic addresses despite any rules I set up. Within that Out-Of-Office
Alert, the spammer gets my primary email address as well - and then the spam
REALLY starts!

As Out-Of-Office Alerts are a feature of the Exchange mailbox, and as the
Exchange User knows which email address is "primary" - as does Outlook (as
the "reply to" address), it should not be too difficult to skip sending
Out-Of-Office Alerts to emails sent to any email address other than the
"primary" one.

Sorry, but your Exchange Admin is to blame for this problem. Exchange, by
default settings, denies replies and forwards to the Internet (including Out
of Office responses). It must be deliberately turned on - a sign of a
poorly trained Exchange Admin who is just ripe for a mail loop crashing the
company's Exchange Server.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Milly-

1) I <am> the Exchange Admin. Any poor training is the fault of poor
documentation.

2) The settings you spoke of <are> disabled.

3) The whole point of "Out-Of-Office Alerts" is to inform someone when I
am, in fact, out of the office. If someone sends an email to my private
(primary) email address, I <want> them to get an Out Of Office Alert so they
know why I am not responding.

I just don't want Out-Of-Office alerts to go to <non-primary> email
addresses also listed under my User name. Exchange/Outlook should know the
difference.

And how would Outlook/Exchange "know" the difference?
