Out Of Office Assistant Reminder Not Appearing

We have a user who is running Outlook 2003. When they set the OOF it works
normally. However when they come back to their laptop, after it has been
shut down, it does not come up with the reminder informing them that the OOF
is turned on. Anyone any ideas?
