Out of Office Assistant w/POP3 Server

Is it possible to create a rule to activate the Out of
Office Assistant when an employee is away from their
desk?

The POP3 Server eliminates this option in the tools
dropdown window.

Please explain another way to create this option when
using the POP3 Server.

Rules Wizard. The main drawback is that the machine and Outlook must be
kept on, polling intervals set, and the realization that using this option
will confirm the user's address as *hot* to any spammer who receives the
reply. Oh, and did I mention mail loops that will bring down an
organization's mail in less time than it takes to read this?
